I'm sick of this girl. She complains that she's "fat" or "ugly" every single day. I don't want to "feed the pig." This only child's parents have given her everything she's ever wanted and still treat her like a princess and I'M TOTALLY NOT UP FOR THAT. I was friends with her for about a year now but I'm hella sick of it. She keeps saying that "we don't ever hang" out...blah blah...help with this disgusting situation.

don't tell her what she wants to hear. You don't have to continue the friendship and tell her your not going to do her any favors by always complimenting her.

Friends are suppose to be there through good times and bad but if it is that bad stop talking to her wing yourself away from that situation why be in the friendship if your are tried of it however if you want to keep the friendship talk to her say what you just did to her she'll either change or be offended. Good luck

Well maybe she thinks she's fat and ugly. Assure her she's not and that you are tired of hearing about it. You should be honest.

That's not very nice to say I don't want to "feed the pig". Perhaps she has low self esteem.

it sounds like her parents have created the monster-
I see it so often, parents give their children everything
and they do more harm then good. She is not going to
grow or develop as a strong person with parents that spoil
her. If I were you, I would tell her exactly how you feel
she is going to need to change to continue a friendship
with you- I would be honest, it sounds like she needs
to hear the truth

I would respond as follows: "I have heard many times now that you believe you are fat and ugly. I don't believe you are. However, since you do, please begin to do something about it, like diet and exercise and get a makeover rather than complain about it which doesn't help. Otherwise, I would rather not hear about it." And go from there.

Why are you wondering how to "deal" with her - it's simple. Tell her you don't want to hang out with her anymore. If she pushes for a reason why tell her pretty much what you said above in your question - try not to be quite so harsh about it though. Voila! You won't have to "deal" with her anymore.

Level with her. Tell her that the two you used to have fun, but you are not a therapist and don't want to spend your day boosting her self esteem.

Say to her, "Yeah, I agree. You are fat." That should shut her up!

(Just kidding, don't really do this.)

Instead, try to slowly break away from this friendship.

tell her to go to the counseler. i know how u feel! theres this chinese gurk whos AAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLWWWWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS asking for compliments and sometimes i just wanna agree with her. like say " yes ur fat! now shut the hell up!" but instead, i just send her to the counselor, and as planned she shuts up talking to me anyways. the counselors probaly dead, but hey, at least u dnt have to deal with her. and chances are the counselor will probaly send her somewhere for help. good luck. :)
