Run
type "cmd" w/out the quotes
type "ipconfig /all'

Click the Start Button

Select Run

Type CMD and click OK

This will open command Prompt

Type the command "ipconfig /all" and press Enter.

If you want to know your Public IP using which u would connect to the internet open Internet Explorer and open the site www.whatismyip.com

there are 2 type of IP address. Internal and External. togo www.whatismyip.com to get an external and goto Start-->run--> type CMD and type ipconfig it will give u internal IP.

Everyone else has answered this as I would have except to remind you that your external ip address is liable to change depending on your isp. If you need to have a constant ip, ask your isp for it.
