Why is it that every time I attempt to open this, there pops up on the screen "Windows Movie Maker has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." (Sorry, yeaha right)... but no really, I had already tried to download Windows Movie Maker 2.1, but doesn't seem to work, even though I have Windows XP-SP2...... Is there any explanation? And if not, does anyone know where I can download a movie maker for free?

Yep, All the other updates have come with ease, it's only movie maker that has created problems.... and I doubt it is fake, because other things have been downloaded from it before?

Try un-install the older version of Windows Movie Maker then re-install the software again.
Err...is your Windows XP real or fake?

Your PC is likely infected.
Remove all malware, then from within XP, insert your XP CD and select "Repair Windows".
Last resort: backup your data and re-install XP.

if ur looking for a good movie maker software like adobe movie maker ur gonna hav to pay for it and adobe is really good too. and ur computer might hav a bug cuz my windows movie maker never did that before. i hope that helps.
