What to cut it off and what to ignore, the answer will depend on the question. There are thing that needs not be ignore, it may need your keen observation and analysis, you don't have to just cut it off without learning the possibilities. Life is and always full of choices ,like your question . So why jump into an answer when you can find the best arguments and look for more feasible option.

Only cut it off if it was never enjoyable to you or if you can not enjoy it at all.
Ignore it if it is something useful and pleasurable.
That way you if you never enjoyed it, there is no way you will miss it. If you did enjoy it, you can always stop ignoring it and return to the enjoyment. :)
