Hi Flower!
The next solar eclipse will be this September 11, 2007.
It's a partial eclipse of the sun that Tuesday morning, visible across the southern cone of South America, from central Brazil and Peru southward. It cannot be seen in the Northern Hemisphere.
The next one is also visible only in the Southern Hemisphere. It happens on the afternoon of Thursday, February 7, 2008, as a partial eclipse in Australia and New Zealand. If you happen to be in Antarctica the late afternoon of Wednesday, February 6th (across the International Date Line), such as at Russkaya Station, you'd see an annular eclipse out over the Southern Ocean.
The next solar eclipse visible anywhere in the Northern Hemisphere is the one August 1, 2008, mentioned by earlier writers.
Note that there will also be two lunar eclipses, one this August 28th and another in February 2008, both widely visible across the world.
Tell me under "additional information" where you're calling from, and I'll tell you the date of the next solar eclipse you can see!

The solar eclipse that takes place on August 1, 2008, will be a total eclipse of the Sun with a magnitude of 1.039 that will be visible from a narrow corridor through northern Canada (Nunavut), Greenland, Siberia, Mongolia, and China. The centre of the path will cross the northern island of Novaya Zemlya and the city of Novosibirsk. A partial eclipse will be seen from the much broader path of the Moon's penumbra, including eastern North America and most of Europe and Asia.
