if your husband lied many times to you than abandoned you while you were 7 months pregnant and than you found out he left to be with a 17yr old girl in high school but still wants to be friends, would you be friends?
I have to see him due to our child but he wants to buddy buddy like nothing ever happened. how would you act tourd him?

The fact that you haven't killed him yet speaks volumes about your character. Personally I would totally ignore him. You have to see him due to the child, but you don't have to look at him or talk to him. At the same time, seem very happy and upbeat, even better if you can bring a boyfriend along. What a jerk, he deserves nothing from you.

I would be so done with this schmuck, abandoning you while you were 7 months pregnant? Leaving you for a minor? I would tell him straight up that I am not his friend and you will call him when the baby is born and will see him in court when you file for child support. I would let the courts know that you have concerns about him being a fit parent and tell them that you prefer his visitations be monitored (wouldn't want him to have the baby and the 17 year old together, likely baby would get ignored while he focuses his attention on the 17 year old). He has some nerve......and you are better off without him.....Sorry he did that to you....

I would discuss your child, and visitation for your child- over the phone. I certainly wouldn't pretend he was anything other than walking, talking scum. I wouldn't even allow the butt hole to enter my home. He should knock, and wait OUTSIDE for the child. Treat him, just as he treated you. No conversation, no stories, no jokes, NOTHING. Just because he fathered your child, doesn't change the fact that he cheated, and left you while you were pregnant. That makes him lower than pond scum.

i would act liek a adult and be pleaseant but not buddy buddy, if it is regarding the child or the childs benefit then things should be fine, but if he talks about other things be as supportive as you can until you think he is trying to hard then find a reason to leave.

Cordial. Polite. He is your child's father and as such, keeping your brief time together with him should include being cordial and polite.

Maybe with time you can be friends, but right now I think you aren't capable of it (rightfully so) as the pain is too fresh. Limit your time to visitation exchanges only.
