It depends on what the network wants: ratings, or accuracy.

O'Donnell spews conservative-hating tripe, and apparently subscribes to the conspiracy theories that have been disproven time and time again. But that very same controversy keeps the rating numbers up.

Personally, if ABC continues to let her rant, then I'll assume that they're not interested in truth and accuracy and will take such attitude towards all their shows -- including the news.

Why? It's just an entertainment show. Rosie stirring up controversy just gets the show more publicity so more people watch. ABC is just concerned with ratings and not with what people like Bill O'Reilly say. I think he's secretly in love with her. He talks about her every night on his show. Maybe she rebuffed his sexual harassment and now he's mad.

Yes, she has a right to her opinion but, she has no right to pretend there is only one side to everything. That she is the ultimate arbiter of truth, goodness and the American way. If she wants to give her opinions she should clearly state these are her opinions and nothing more. But she tries to pass her ridiculous and bigoted viewpoint off as the truth. When she does that, she goes beyond stating her opinion and should be removed.

Americans are suppose to have Freedom of Speech but everytime anyone on TV makes a comment about something, Somebody tackes offense at it and raises the roof. Its getting redicoulous. Rosie just made a commment as to her belief about something. We all are entitled to our opinions.

Oh my God yes! I thought no one was ever going to say that. hey never should have hired her. She's loud and abnoxious. She's never been funny I don't know why she's famous. She's like the Paris Hilton of fat lezbians. She gives lezbians the bad rep of man hatting she cows.
Her mouth is uncontrolable. Yes it is time for her to stay home and be a house dike.

I think Barbara Walters should. Rosie is bringing that show down and turning it into a nutcake rant forum. It's demeaning to Barbara and the show, and to the viewer's intelligence.

No, hiring her was the smartest thing they did.

I love how out spoken she is.

I wonder, if it were Howard Stern sitting in her seat, would people want him fired??
