Put some water in the pan and some baking soda. Stick it back in the oven and heat it so that the water and baking soda can soften the oil. I also use a green pad to scrub w/. But if it has some kind of teflon finish, don't use the green pad b/c it will scratch your pan.

Fill pan 1third full of water, cover tightly with lid or foil, place in oven at 300 deg. for half an hour. Turn off oven & leave pan there for another hour. Remove from oven, remove lid, pour off water, apply scouring powder & scrub briskly. Rinse & check to see if there's any change. If yes, but not enough, apply more scouring powder & repeat scrub. BUT if this is a metal baking sheet STOP. The accumulation of a coat of carbonized grease renders a metal baking sheet nonstick. Old style baking sheets, that is. The new surfaces are different. It depends how long the stuff's been baked on. Good luck.

Depending on the surface of the pan you can use oven cleaner. The foamy spray kind works great, spray down really good, set it in your oven for the day and over night. it will come off like butter. If it is glass i am not sure if the oven cleaner is safe for use on it. But if it is metal and does not have a non stick coating it will work great.

If it's not a teflon pan, then lots of hot water and either a green scouring pad, or SOS pads. Good luck and have fun working that arm out scouring...lol

Let it soak in hot water with an automatic dishwasher tablet. After 2 hours it will wipe right out.
