How come some people are able to get all A's? Do you have to be really smart? Are they most likely to become successful like a Doctor when they get older? I also heard a saying that depression comes along with intelligence is that true?

You don't have to be really smart to get all A's. You just have to try hard in school, follow the instructions, do what the teacher wants. If you have problems understanding things, most teachers will be happy to take some extra time to help you and maybe even give you a project for extra credit.

Intelligence is only one factor in life success. Success means doing what makes you happy, and believe me not everyone would be happy as a doctor! They work very hard.

The important thing is to find a job that you like, preferably one that makes use of your natural talents and interests. To be a real success you must also be able to have healthy relationships, because love and friendship and support is an even bigger factor in happiness than your job. Plus, these things can help you accomplish what you want.

Depression can go along with intelligence, if the intelligent people forget to value Emotional Intelligence - healthy relationships and getting along with people. Smart people who are awkward and don't know how to get along with others, will not be happy, no matter what kind of job they get. They will always be lonely and isolated. Fortuantely, it's never too late to learn.

So, if you apply yourself to your school and work, and foster good relationships, and make good decisions about your life, you'll do very well and be happy.

Remember the wisdom of Harry Potter II: it's not your qualities that make you who you are, but your choices.

You are so beautiful but so gullible, and probably very very young, and please, as soon as you can learn for yourself by doing your own personal research, then you won't think too much about what others opinions or beliefs are, and, as for "A's", anyone can get "A's" if they do their very best because studying usually requires mastering the ability to concentrate which requires discipining yourself to study in an area where it is fairly quiet and in an area where you won't be disturbed too much, plus, you need to be well rested up, and set limitations on your studies so that you are not forced into study otherwise you won't be at your best. As for depression somehow being connected with intelligence, you can believe what you want, but intelligence usually comes with sharpening up you mental faculties and powers of logic, along nothing to curtail the oxygen to your brain like smoking cigarettes or using illict drugs or narcotics. There's more but I'll leave it to you to sort this all out, I hope I've somehow engineered this question of yours with a proper answer thus leaving you with something to work with. Good luck!

If you apply yourself to your work, then I personally don't think it's that hard to get all A's. A lot of people think all I do is study because I normally get straight A's, but I definitely don't. I just listen in class, and do what I need to do at home. People have told me I should be a doctor because I'm smart, but cutting people open isn't appealing to me plus I don't like people in general. I've gone through depression, but it's not because I'm smart. I think kids who are considered geniuses might suffer from depression because the stereotype is that they don't hang out with people their age and they keep to themselves.

just you have to work hard.

u will be rewarded then.

"Avarice is disgrace; cowardice is a defect; poverty often disables an intelligent man from arguing his case; a poor man is a stranger in his own town; misfortune and helplessness are calamities; patience is a kind of bravery; to sever attachments with the wicked world is the greatest wealth; piety is the best weapon of defence. Very good question.

I honestly believe the whole grading system is buIIshit! In my eyes it's just unfair to make people do assignment to show their intelligent. Not everyone can explain things well by written.

Plus by force people to write answer on something, it basically install the pressure to make people pay attention only on how to pass the system. This is just BS! I can teach a chimpanize how to memorize a answer then answer a couple questions. But when it come to talking about your knowledge and debating, it actually show what you know!

There has been a couple case in high school where my teachers (mainly history or science) ask me to stay after class then ask me how do I know such things. They were surprise that I can basically teach the class if I was forced to and also they often couldn't answer many of my questions. Also a couple time we've got in a argue over history or science facts. Once I ask one of teacher a question on something relate to south america history (can't remeber what it was but it was about a revolution) He stopped talking about it and say he would have to research on it first and move onto other part. Then next day we continue the part he stopped at.

In college I have got higher grade just because I prove I know more than what I need to despite of being very lazy with my works. The professor doesn't like this very much but they respect that I have lot of knowledge and studies or research things on my own free time.

My grades were rarely impressive (usually around 3.0) mainly because I'm so lazy when it come to assignment that limit my focus. For example if someone ask me to do research on a president and write about his life. I mostly likely wouldn't bothers because I would feel so limit especially if I have to worry more about major point of someone life that everyone alredy know. On other hand if someone ask me to write 10 pages about which civilization made more advance in engineering field and why/. I could write 100 pages on this because it give me lot more things to work with and thinks about.

As being more successful in life. Well that's difficult question to answer. On one hand, you don't need to be very intelligent to success if you're diehard loyal to your boss, do everythings willingly and always do good job. On other hand if you're very intelligent, others around you could easily see you as a major thearten to them, especially if you have a conflict with them. Many bosses are scare of people who have lot of knowledge and intelligents because the boss knows it could be very difficult to work with this person. Also what if the person got mad and quit the company then give infos to other company? Also the more intelligent person are in their field, the more chance other companies will try to offer the person huge paychecks and bonus to lure the person away from the company.

For example, if Bill Gates doesn't own microsoft, it wouldn't be that hard for Apple to offer him huge contract with generous benefits to lure him away from microsoft. If that happen, microsoft would be in world of sh!t because Bill Gates would give all secret away to Apple. So that's why bosses of Microsoft would look at Bill Gate as a thearten if Bill Gates wasn't owner.

I firmly believes that intelligent person tend to work better if they feel like they own at least part of company. That way they're less likely to backstab their company and moves to other and give all sensitive informations away.

As being depress. Well that's quite a possible. I do believe a very intelligent person have much more difficulties in life. They often feel bored by social that they just doesn't really want to be around anyone. Also they're often very curious about things so they often are locked away in their own research and studies. Plus they often can see structures of the social so well that they just end up being able to read person like a book and avoid many people. Many people put on a false personality and are hyprocrite. This turn many people off, but not many peolpe can see it. However a intelligent person tend to be able to spot them and avoid them. Also the way they talk can affect lot of things. It can make others feel inferior which would cause them to avoid the intelligent person. If they try to explain something very difficult to understand such as time traveling theory or something then others wouldn't get it at all. So this hurt the intelligent person social life big time.

On other hand intelligent person seems to be able to keep themselve happy simply by being very successful in field they work in and enjoy studying what they like to learn about.

So... it's a double edge sword either way. In end it can either hurt or help the person. It all depends on how they use it.
