I think he has discovered that the world has way more to offer him than just sitting a computer screen and not interacting with people.

Has he stopped doing everything? If so I might be a little worried. He should have some interest, but they don't have to be computer games. If he's involved in other activities it may be he's just gotten bored of the computer games. He'll be better off if he's outside shooting hoops or playing baseball anyway.

Could be several reasons..have you asked? Chances are, there really is no one answer to it. Teens interests change almost daily. Maybe it's a social thing, maybe he has found something better to do, or maybe he is like most teens and is just growing up. If you look at him in daily activities, you might see that he may have given up computer games for now, to focus his interests in something else?
Any rate...this is definitely nothing to worry about. :)

I stopped playing computer/video games when I was 12. When one tires of something, one stops doing that thing. It's not abnormal or anything.

Unless he shows signs of some kind of depression, I think he has matured and decided to stop wasting so much time.
