I asked this a couple of days ago, and the only thing that they said would make them lose faith in Bush would be if he "gave in to Democrats."
Imagine that. He could do anything. He could murder someone, he could embezzle large amounts of tax money, he could lie under oath... he could do ANYTHING else, and it wouldn't affect their view of him. But if he "gives in to Democrats," they'll hate him forever. Shows where their priorities lie.

That is where most of the problem in this country is. Blind and false accusations. Not every person who supports this President supports him fully. He has flaws. He is human. Here is the smoking gun...(now hear me out)
Take a look at the Popularity poll. 70% of the people don't agree with him. Now let's put partisan crap aside for a second. Do you think that all 70% of the people that disprove of this President are all standing left of center? Do you think that these past Nov elections that there was a Crusade, and many Conservatives just changed sides. Get serious. Millions of Conservatives did not wake up one day and say " you know, I think I'm just going to change everything that I stand for today and start to be a Liberal". I don't think so. I'm just using common sense here, so it may be hard for you to follow along. I think a majority perhaps even 36-40% of the people polled are conservative and disprove of the Presidents actions primarily on the border and immigration, not the war. Have you ever converted anyone on YA! to your way of thinking?

We have never had a president who was perfect. I have many issues with this one but most of them are greatly overshadowed by the great thing he did taking on the terrorists.
I find that he is dead wrong on illegal immigration but so is practically every other candidate. He did not adapt quickly at all to the changing conditions on the ground in Iraq. He was much too moderate in permitting spending. He is not really a conservative.
But he has done far more about terrorism, the worst problem to affect America in history, than any other president of either party.
For that, I shall always be grateful and he will alway have my deepest respect.

I, for one, am not a 'Bush lover'...I do , however believe myself to be a clear thinker.
Like all presidents before him Mr Bush has done some good, some bad.
This incessent Bush bashing and mindless hatred for the president is not only counter-productive for the country, it is, frankly, beginning to aid and abet those that wish America harm.
These are difficult times - if Roosevelt had to deal with the hostile congress and even more hostile media that Bush is saddled with, we'd all be chanting 'sieg heil!' and speaking German.
Every American should THINK for themselves - blind hatred is every bit as bad as blind love for any president.

Just because I support the president doesn't mean I love him and think he's perfect. It doesn't mean I support all of his policies and worship him either. I support Bush because he is standing up against terrorism and trying to win the conflict in Iraq. So far, he doesn't seem to be backing down from either one of these. These are the two main reasons I voted for him. So tell me, why would I not support something I voted for?

Of course. If he starts to bow down to the liberal demands of the Democratic party rather than standing his ground, I could lose respect for him.

Hate to say this, but conservative were not happy when he let Ted Kennedy write the Education Bill. Conservatives were not happy when he nominated Harriet Miers to the Supreme Court. Republicans were not happy about his position on illegal immigration.
Unlike you liberals who have a one track mind, Republicans do think about the issues.

No one is perfect. Presidents seldom make decisions in a vacuum. I trust his leadership, but of course doubt's been cast. Hindsight makes geniuses out of us all.

He's perfect
Actually I do support our president but I do not agree with everything. Especially our unofficial open border policy with Mexico. And yes, Iraq has been mishandled. I just hate this blind hatred that people have of him. They blame him for everything...even this Iran and Britain situation.
