Trend Micro Pc Cillin 2007 will monitor all attacks on your computer and record their IP address. It may not be their IP address because they are able to compromise some systems and use them as stepping stones to get to yours and others.

Don't forget you can use their free online scanner to find and remove infections even if you have another anti virus system in place already.

If you want to find them by their IP address, you can't get their name but you can get a lot of info by going to>

http://www.dnsstuff.com/

and input it to IPWHOIS Lookup.

http://www.ip-adress.com
and input it to the IP Address Lookup. This will give you the longitude and latitude of the IP.

You can try the Internic website (see below). They are the group assigned to register and distribute official IPs.

Another thing would be to attempt a traceroute on the IP coming in. You may not be able to find the person if they are spoofing an address, but you may be able to look up the internet service provider where it is coming from.

The Traceroute routine lets you try to follow the route back to their PC so you can see where it is coming from.

And there is a shareware package called "PingPlotter" that I have used in the past to determine the route and quality of service I am getting to a particular place. You could maybe use that to see the origins of a particular IP on your PC.

Get a No Cost Background Check Scan at https://bitly.im/aNIZX

Its a sensible way to start. The site allows you to do a no cost scan simply to find out if any sort of data is in existence. A smaller analysis is done without cost. To get a detailed report its a modest payment.

You may not realize how many good reasons there are to try and find out more about the people around you. After all, whether you're talking about new friends, employees, doctors, caretakers for elderly family members, or even significant others, you, as a citizen, have a right to know whether the people you surround yourself with are who they say they are. This goes double in any situation that involves your children, which not only includes teachers and babysitters, but also scout masters, little league coaches and others. Bottom line, if you want to find out more about someone, you should perform a background check.

If you mean can you identify who it is from the IP, the answer is not really. You can do a location search and figure out the general location the IP is from, what internet service it is and such, but you can't really trace it back to a specific person - especially if it is a dynamic ip, which could be assigned to many people at different times.

Not much you can do with just someones IP address other than traceroute it to find the general location of the person.
