I see your problem and it is widespread. I have a theory it began also due to that time when women began taking hormones ( birth control pills) which brings out a lot of agressiveness. It is, however, not impossible to find someone. Try just not looking so intensely for a while, especially since you were just divorced. Take a break and do other things like volunteer work, take class, travel or simply get a pet for now. There is someone for you out there and yes perhaps in another country. You will have a new life but right now be patient.

-Good luck buddy, but I think you might be looking for the wrong things in a woman. Women can be wonderful partners. A lot of them don't mind if the man takes the lead, but with a gentle hand.
-Submissive is a very good trait in any one. Wouldn't you like someone that will not only stand up for you, but to you when your wrong?
-It rotten when someone cheats, and I'm sure your better off not wasting more time with her.
-Well no matter what, good luck. Love is a hard road, and we all get hurt along the way.

I know a person that told me exactly what you are writing here. I told him that what he was looking for was a woman from centuries ago.
This man went to a third world country, because he found his "submissive" wife. It seem she lied to him a lot. just to catch him.
What is better, a woman that is herself with her own needs and ways of thinking, but that is honest. Or a woman that makes you believe she is the way you want so to be able to have a better life?
Many submissive women in many third world countries, are submissive because they are oppressed, not because of choice.

Dude, times change man. What worked 2000 years ago doesn't work these days. Women are beautiful, in everyway, they deserve to have a career and be treated fairly.
In most situations it takes 2 incomes to make a family work out well. Perhaps what is getting you in trouble is that your outlook is a little bit off. Instead of looking for a woman who is going to bow down to your every whim, look for a woman that is going to do her fair share.
See, even though Christ is the head of the church, he gave the members someting called free will, the ability to choose, and he listens and hears. So if you want to find a "good woman," perhaps you should live a little more like a loving and caring Christ. If you make enough money to provide and live well, that's good, let you woman live well. If not, then let her work. Even in Biblical times, women worked (read the book of Ruth).

Wow, you don't want a woman. You want a doormat. Check your local Walmart for both the real kind and the figurative. Sorry, but you are a woman hater and there's a good reason that you can't find a woman and it's not the fault of feminism, but the benefit of the women's movement.
You are absolutely sick. An educated intelligent woman is rebellious?? Come on.

i don't think you should classify a woman as good or not based upon whether or not she's willing to be submissive to you. i think you probably haven't found a woman like that because you judge harsly. you have to find the right woman for you. i don't think race or ethnicity will make a difference, many women in all different cultures have more freedom now then they did in the 60's. i guess stick with your search

If we really understood the Christian constructs for male and female you reference, we'd do a lot more to encourage our wives to pursue school and develop their gifts. How can we blame our women from fighting loose from us when we devalue them instead of love them.
I don't understand these male and female Christian constructs very well ... but I'm sure Christ never intended men to dominate and control women. Christ doesn't do that to the Church. Why do we do it to our women in His name?
If I ever become a 'true-man', maybe I'll be able to answer your question.

Would you want to be dominated and constantly told what to do? A good woman who is willing to be submissive to a man must be able to respect him in all things and to trust his judgment. That only comes with proving himself over time to have her best interests at heart. I only submit to my man because I trust him and I know that he cherishes me. I know that he would never do anything to demean me or make me feel inferior. I submit to him because he has shown himself to be immensely intelligent and practical. He has earned my respect and admiration with his integrity and character. Very few men possess those characteristics and unfortunately are looking for a woman a lord over and control. They basically want a slave who will do what they say without question and always defer to them. NO woman wants that in a relationship - God fearing or not. I would say that that kind of a man is going to have problems with a woman of any culture or background because he does not value her as a person. Most women have learned to be independent because they have to in order to be safe and in control of their lives.

Where are you meeting the women at strip clubs? Since you seem to be semi religious why don't you join a church or several churches in an effort to meet a submissive wife. Let me tell you with immigration the way it is having a foreign wife is no walk in the park. My husband and I had to wait YEARS before he could come to the US.

You would do best by marrying in a 3rd world country, where women are subservient. No individual should be content to accept the thinking that you express. Thankfully, slavery is no longer a part of our civilization.
