Jo-Ann fabric has material for skater costumes. I think she probably wants tulle or veil material for her sleeves.

The dresses are usually made from lycra, you can use almost anything really as long as it has the stretch you want, but I would recomend if you are using a pattern follow the recomendations on the back.

A good online fabric shop is www.cheapfabrics.co.uk

They do dancewear. Or if you have an Asian district near you there is often several fabric shops which would be able to help you out.

Could you describe what type of "mesh" she wants?
A large grid mesh like fishnet?... or a very fine one like chiffon, etc.?... or something in-between or something else entirely?

And what do you mean by "what would be best for a skirt chiffon'?? Do you mean the best chiffon, the best place to buy it, the best type of fabric for a skirt?... or what?
