actually it was my dads phone so I could hear his voice on the answering machine after he died,sorry dont mean to be a downer

Yes & This is before the days that people had answering machines & caller I.D. was unheard of!.I thought that maybe by calling him somehow my vibrations would somehow transmit into his house andwhen he got home from work he would feel my vibes and call me!(LOL) This was in the late 1960's and allot of people were thinking about stuff like astral travel, projection and all that stuff.Boy! How silly! I am so glad that that I never ended up with him.

Yes, sometimes, I just wanna tell them something (that I can leave on a message) without the whole conversation thing.

Yes, if you are madly in love with that somone, you are just happy to hear their phone ringing. Some weird chemistry or biology behind that, but it calms your restlessness a bit.

I sometimes call people hoping that they won't answer, you kind of "look good" bcs you call, even though you just leave a message.

I do it all the time. It makes it look like I care about them, its just easier to leave a message as apposed to talking to someone : )

Yes, usually my oldest son. He leaves me goofy messages, so, I have to try and outdo him. Also, I may just leave someone a message to call me when they get home.
