I do not think so.. you can always share music and videos.
Do not worry sleep tight you won't get sued. And in case they sue I do not think that will even move your hair.

You CAN be ... But Delete the Files, any Illegal Files if you are worried.
It is unlikely that you will be sued, but it is possible.
To get YOU specifically, the Person attempting to track you will have to subpoena the access records from your ISP, and some ISPs do, and some do not, so its all a game of odds in this case.
It is a Risk since some people have been caught, and successfully prosecuted, however, if the people were after you, it would take a lot of effort;
It is within the realms of possibility that the Suppliers of the Software that you got were simply protecting themselves, like a kind of " fine print" option that allows you to download theor software, but protects them legally with a disclaimer, IF there is a suit

possession is 9/10s the law..
you can only be sued by a company (or the mpaa etc..) if you have "copyrighted" content on your PC that you did not pay for..
BUT..they have to have a reason to believe the content is on your mac, and they have to find it on your mac etc..
most of the time those people are going after the uploaders and seeders, not the downloaders..
FWIW..every website you visit "logs" your IP address, even Y!A. I'm sure if the engineers that run this site check their logs your IP is there. It's common practice..so dont fret b/c someone says "Your IP is logged" etc..

Umm. did you comprehend what a "peer block" is? As I comprehend it, it really is a fashion of blocking off some internet sites from doing p2p -- peer-to-peer -- linkups inclusive of your workstation. In different words, it prevents some internet sites from searching at what you've on your disk. Are you certain "it became no one in this loved ones who dedicated the act"? because installation a peer block certain sounds like someone has some thing to cover. Why did your son set up the peer block? wish that enables.

While this is happening, it is very unlikely that you are in trouble. Often times, when a download site is taken down, the page is replaced with the message that downloading is illegal. Makes you a captive audience for their message. If you are really concerned, stop downloading.

P2P programs aren't illegal, and from what you said, you were just trying to download one. You should be fine as long as the ip didn't get logged for actually downloading of copyrighted materials.

I doubt it. Just someone trying to freak you out. You haven't done anything illegal by looking it up. It's only illegal to share illegal files.
