People in general are going to greater lengths to look better. I trim my eye brows some, but they are really bushy. I also have a small unabrow-thing going on, so unless i pluck a few hairs in the center, it looks really bad. As far as waxing and extreme plucking (i.e. Joey Lawrence) that is gaining popularity by more self-conscious people but is going too far in my opinion.

Well I think the correct term you mean is "metro-sexual", staright guys who spend way to much time on themselves. Anyways, I think you will find that most men do pluck to some extent. If they don't it's called a "uni-brow".

More and more guys are waxing their eyebrows...It's got nothing to do with being gay or straight: it's just another grooming technique, equivalent to shaving.
