America won when saddam was removed.
Now it is time to go and let the Iraqis run Iran. This endless war has gone on long enough.
America shouldn't be in the middle of a civil war either.

Yay! OK, let's go home.
And yes, by definition, what is happening in Iraq is, indeed a civil war. To qualify as a civil war, among the criteria are:
-- the warring factions must be in the same country, fighting for political domination;
-- at least 1,000 total death must have occurred, with at least 100 from each side.

I think the goals in this war included:
1. Defect the Iraq military - - easy enough.
2. Capture Saddam Hussain and bring him to trial - -done.
3. Nation building in Iraq so that it will not be used as a terrorist base. Set up a democratic government and allow free enterprise to flourish. - - Humm.. may be impossible.
So the USA may not be able to prevent terrorists from taking control of Iraq. This doesn't mean the USA lost the war.. It only means that one objective could not be fulfilled. The biggest losers in this case would be the Iraqi people themselves.

Yes, we did. The President even said so, and stood under a sign that said "Mission Accomplished"

Bush can declare VI day anytime he wants. He doesn't want. Too bad for the troops and the innocent Iraqis.
