The Lawrence Arms
They have the best lryics ever, they have a different message to their songs that i can always relate to, they have an amazing energy behind each song and also an amazing eergy live, and they have two very different and distinct singers. They have been my favorite band for a long long time.

Do we have to choose from the list?
Evanescense is good, but the style has changed so much from one CD to the next- the 4 cds all have dramatically different sounds and therefore dramatically different audiences...Daughtry is great with 1 CD, and absent element was fantastic, but once again, two different audiences...I am unfamiliar with the other bands, so I cannot choose from the list fairly...
Off the list, According to John, Barlowgirl, Fefe Dobson, and Shinedown all rock my world.

I'm so disappointed with Evanescence. Such a waste of an awesome band. After dismissing them, I'd have to say my favorite band is 12 Stones, who, btw, the lead singer sang in an Evanescence song on their first album. I think it was called, "Fallen" or "Wake Me Up Inside." Been so long since I've listened to them.

damageplan is by far my favorite. I also like alice in chains, dropbox, drowning pool, godsmack. those are my favorites. Also, check out the band saint caine. Their songs on myspace are great.
