If a circle is inscribed in a square with a perimeter of 24 cm, what is the circumference of the circle? The diameter of the circle is 6 cm.

If you only know the diameter you will use this formula:
Circumference= pi x the diameter.

Pi is always 3.14

So you here is what your formula will look like:
unknown circumference = 3.14 x 6

So, unknown circumference = 18.84 cm.

Circumference = D*pi= 6*pi=18.85cm

The circumference of a circle is C = d*pi, where d is diameter and pi is 3.14159. You have d, so you can calculate C with simple arithmetic.
