Omg, what are you doing?

Whatever other people say, I have the utmost respect for our heroes, whether it be Rizal, Aquino, Bonifacio, all of them! They laid their precious life just to set us free, to give us a more meaningful life. And I don't know why anyone would even care if one hero should be national or not, I just have the deepest gratitude to Rizal, to all our heroes, that I wouldn't encourage debates like that. I shouldn't even be answering this question.

The argument that Jose Rizal shouldn't be the NATIONAL hero is based on the fact that the Americans chose him (during the American regime/Commonwealth) because he was a pacifist. They didn't want the Filipinos to revolt against them, like we did against Spain.

America itself has a revolutionary as a National Hero (Washington). So dapat daw si Bonifacio, not Rizal, should be the National Hero. He's still a hero pero hindi "National Hero"

I did the research for your homework, now gimme my 10 pts ^_^
