Excellent question! As a male, I'd have to switch it to my x-wife and her husband. I'd go to lunch. I'd hate for the plot and action of the movie to deprive me of this pleasure for even a minute. My lunch would allow me to relax, replay the drowning scene in my mind, reconsider my decision to not rescue them, and then order desert.
This is entirely hypothetical, but the opportunity to enjoy this scenario was a good start to my work-day. Thanks!
Ricky

Wow, someone's got some issues they need to work out. Still I found it kind of funny all the same. I guess you could go to lunch by the sea (as in a picnic) then you could check out the nice view (i.e. the drowning couple) whilst you're eating your ham sandwiches.

Ok, I have to weigh the pros & cons on this one. My husband & I are still together and going strong. I think I would save him and her it's every man for themseves.
I have two sets of twins, so I'm going to need him around. One set are boys and the othe set are girls. These times and days kids need a father figure in there life. Don't get me wrong there single parents out here that have done an amazing job, but I still say kids need a father, so yes I would save him and go to dinner afterwards w/my kids!

You should feel ashamed of yourself. Any woman I know would go shopping, not lunch or a movie!

First I'd make sure there was no way they could reach shore, then pull out a blanket and a picnic basket. Who needs a movie when you have live action.
