VERY different than Pelosi's trip to Syria. Pelosi isn't coming back saying everything is wonderful. She just wants to talk.

usmc, I say it's propaganda because he is saying Baghdad is safe when it's not. Of course I would condemn Democrats who say the same thing.

Do you think that it's propaganda because Sen. McCain is a Republican? If there was a Democrat in this story would you be asking the same question?

Sure it's safe to walk around when you have 100 troops guarding you, helicopters in the air, streets closed off to the public and your waring a bullet proof vest.
And didn't just some Republican come back from Syria too?

If everything is wonderful there wouldn't be car and truck bombs and IEDs killing soldiers and Iraqis. The situation in Iraq is not good, but it might not be as bad as some say it is, which is still bad enough.

All career politicians are bad . We need to get rid of lobbyists and get public funded elections so anyone can run who gets enough signatures .
