do you think that prostitution should be legal? After all, it is the woman's body.

P.S. Please don't assume that you know where I stand, just answer the question.

Prostitution and drugs should absolutely be legal.

Legalization would go a long way to diminishing the robbery and violence surrounding these "crimes".

If you disagree, consider that the drive-by shooting was invented during the prohibition of alcohol.

I used to think that prostitution should be legalized. Not that I agree with what they do, however many men take full advantage of the commodity. A couple of years ago a woman in one of the European countries lost her job and was collecting loss of job insurance. She wasn't able to find another job quickly. Her state officials told her that she could find a job in prostitution instead of collecting this insurance. I would rather starve!

Prostitution is legal in many countries, and it does a lot to help protect customers and workers alike. The American system of skanky hos and pimps, drugs, beatings and arrests is really not the best way to do things.
Prostitution here has become a legitimate, lucrative and safe career option for young women (and men), many of whom are putting themselves through university since they won't be a "pretty woman" forever.

Actually, I do believe that prostitution should be legal, but regulated. That is to say, I think that only those who are 18 and over should be allowed to become prostitutes and they should be required to be licensed and tested regularly for STDs.

in cases of Rape I think it is fine. If the ultra conservatives would yield on that I would agree to ending the pro choice stand. I am a consrevative but a realist. Some cultures tell their Males it is OK to Rape to spread the seed! I do not think sooooo!

well.. it's not a medical procedure.. but at the same time it's none of my business what someone else wants to do in their bedroom... I don't pay for sex.. so I guess in the end I really don't have an opinion on this one.

Personally, I am pro-life, politically, I am pro-choice in regards to medical decisions made by anyone.

I don't care one way or another, frankly. Because it's illegal, I think women who do it should be punished for it. If it were legal... like you said, her choice.
