It seems like there is just so much controversy surrounding the sport, and I just wanted to know how you thought about it. <3

Cheerleaders have been around since Shep was a pup. It's not something I was ever interested in but I grew up with a lot of gals that just loved it. They survived, and I'm certain all the new cheerleaders will survive provided they are careful while doing their stunts

I LOVE cheer. I have been a cheerleader for 5 years. I am not popular and I am a very quiet person. I hate it when people try saying that all cheerleaders are "preppy", "stupid" and worst of all "whores". It makes me so mad! Cheerleaders work just as hard as any other sports players. For competitive cheer we have to do so much painful work, and conditioning. And to add to it..Tumbling. Now you can't let people try to tell you that tumbling is easy. It takes alot of muscle! Cheer isn't just waving pom-poms..its working hard, conditioning, and sweating. NO PAIN. NO GAME! Rock on cheerleaders!!!

I was a Cheerleader, in high school, many moons ago.
It was fun, but things were simple back then.

i like cheerleading...i HATE cheerleaders.
the whole idea of cheerleading it pretty cool...but i hate the preppy little cheerleaders...if only they could have more open-minded girls as cheerleaders...it would be so much better.

I really don't care at this point in my life...I'm out of school and have no contact with cheerleaders so WHATEVER!
