Man I wish I could thumbs down more than once, for people that say shaving changes your hair growth!

Shaving DOES NOT make hair grow back thicker and/or darker. That is a total MYTH. You can read the link below that proves it.

Waxing your arms isn't that painful. It is less painful than waxing your legs. I prefer to use an epilator so I can do it myself with the same results. The hair doesn't grow back for weeks either way.

There are a lot of women that wax their arms. So it is not that uncommon.

Fades Girl is CLEARLY the one that knows nothing at all. I wish I could give her a hundred thumbs down for being so uneducated. Everyone knows that is a myth. Every medical website will tell you genetics is what causes hair thickness and structure NOT hair removal. I added a lot more websites to PROVE it.

Shaving does not cause hair to grow back thicker. Fades Girl is completely ignorant for thinking so. That is a myth.

Waxing your arms is really common. It is just a matter of preference. It makes your arms feel a lot smoother. I am sure you will like it.

i guess waxing is ok, shaving is bad, your hair will grow back thicker and ticker.
I dont think that your arms will hurt that much, i get my legs done every 6 weeks, and it only hurts me around my ankles and shin bone (guess where the skin is thin and close to the bone)
I reckon it will hurt you on the underneath or your upper arms, as its quite sensitive there.
It wont hurt for long, say about 3 seconds. and its not crying pain, its just a short grit your teeth suck in air type of pain.

dont worry xxx

EDIT, Dont believe everything you read. Oh and, my best friends shaves her arms, and now she wishes she never as they are growing back thicker.
Man! i wish i could give more than one thumbs down to people that think they know everything! but clearly do not!!

EDIT AGAINNN---I do not THINK so, i can easily see that my friends hair on her arms are growing thicker due to her shaving her arms. i have known my friend since i was 4, we are both now 22, she has always had lightish hair on her arms but was very self concious about it, so when she was 17 she decided to shave it all off, then the stubble started coming now she is doing it nearly every day and has said that its growing back thicker and wished she never began shaving them, and i have seen they are thicker too.

Come to your own conclusions, you dont think they grow thicker, i do and have seen it, so we will just have to agree to disagree.
