I think sheep.
I have had sheep and raised lambs for many years. I didn't support myself doing this, but they always helped my in a very stressful job.
No matter how bad things got, I could always go out by my sheep and they would be very contentedly lying in the barn or pasture without a care in the world. They didn't worry one bit about what happened this morning or what might happen tomorrow. Nor did they fret about being bored and having nothing to do except eat and loaf around.
Humans have the ability to worry and stress over things that have already happened and nothing can be done about. Plus, the ability to worry about all kinds of things that might happen, but probably never will. How can that be intelligent?

Elephants are supposed to be very clever but they lack the fingers. Thats why we make all this amazing technology its the thumbs not the brain! Some great apes can communicate using sign language if they are taught as babies. As for war and such that doesn't show we are less intelligent than other animals most creatures fight each other we are just a lot more proficient at it. Global warming? The people who first made fire didn't really think "I wonder if maybe this might change the whole ecosystem of the planet in a few million years" any more than the people of the industrial revolution did

Mice are the most intelligent creatures on the planet.
They're the ones who set up the whole Earth business in the first place - as a ten-million year experiment to find the Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe and Everything.
Big job, you know.

I dont know about the most intelligent life, but humans sure qualify as the most stupid. The reason?
Humans are supposed to be the most intelligent but dont at all use their intelligence.
I think still that there might be wiser and more intelligent life than us out there in the universe.

The smartest chimpanzee is probably more intellegent than the most unfortunate of mentally challenged humans, but as a whole species humans are obviously on top.

I can only answer this in a negative way - humans are about the most dumb. Look at all the dumb things we do - global warming, war, destruction of the environment. We might be clever, but no other creature is so dumb.

Us humans, but seeing as too many of us don't use our so-called "intelligence", I beg to differ.
