Let's see...didn't Russia invade Afghanistan? Then we sent the terrorists money and arms to fight the Russians. They were wounded and the US dealt the final blow by bankrupting the USSR. And yes, I see not only some similarities, but history repeating itself.

Well we did fund OBL and his freedom fighters to fight Russia in a long drawn out war that eventually helped cripple Russia.

no i don't terrorism at the time didn't have to much to do with the war .. it was a different war and the Arabs were fighting it for different reasons. we did help the Arabs!!! but for different reasons.. its not going to bring down the country ..just the bush administration i hope.

I don't think we funded OBL. It was the guy in the North. The Lion guy, I can't think of his name but it was not OBL unless Clinton funded him.
