It's rumoured that Amelia Earhart was a lesbian. I'm not saying she was, just mentioning it.

And Patrica Cornwell is bi-sexual. She's a writer.

Off the top of my head, I can't think of anyone else. Unless we're talking modern history. Then there's Ellen DeGeneres, Kristanna Loken, Ilene Chalkin (although what's she's famous for is debatable), Little Britain, Jodi Foster, etc, etc.

Alexander the Great- ancient Macedonian (Greek) king and conquerer of much of what is now Southern Europe and the Middle East.
