Where are the ACLU and other special interest groups?

Shouldn't they be trying to stop this destruction and separation of families like they are for the "migrants" that are being deported?

Where is the public outcry for THESE children???

Why do they only care about the children of the "migrants"...what about those that are CITIZENS?

It has been proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that the way we are conducting the "war on drugs" has failed. We (society) have spent billions on this ill conceived "war" with the end result that there are a lot of innocent people in jail and in general about 10% of the population uses recreational drugs. Contrast this with the level of drug use in the 60's, about 10%. Or the 70's, about 10%. Or the 80's, about 10% Are you beginning to see a pattern here? Yes use held steady through the 90's and 2K also.

It has been suggested that drug use should be treated as a health problem similar to smoking. The anti-smoking campaign has been one of the most successful programs in history.

Unfortunately politicians don't bother checking with reality before they make up their minds about most subjects. And the prison industry has a vested interest in keeping things exactly the way they are.

You'll have to ask those groups directly why they have ignored this huge problem. And where IS the public outcry? An excellent question!

you're no longer "screwed" my god people could be idiots... It relies upon on once you're taking the attempt. If it truly is to any extent further than 2 weeks I doubt you will have a concern with it, if it truly is until eventually now or you basically might desire to be certain it does not take place, artwork out, run, or bypass to the sauna, drink incredibly some fluids, piss lots. At maximum pharmacies they have something you could take that flushes out your gadget, purely ask the guy on the drugstore table. in the event that they ask you approximately it, like what you will possibly be able to desire to flush out, purely say you do no longer know, you're paying for it for a pal/ your brother, etc. you basically smoked slightly so it truly is going to no longer stay on your gadget too long. additionally, while taking the attempt, the 'middle' of your pee stream is the cleanest.

No one is put in jail for light drug use. Jail time is the last step in trying to help the user. I have seen what drugs do to a person and a family of the user. The kids are far better off in a foster home.

ACLU is nothing but a group of people that needs to be shut down. they don't care about the American people. I'm waiting for the day an American citizen goes to them for help and they turn the American away. maybe then all of America will wake up to the traitors of America.

Think of the high percentage of 1.5 million children who were adapting to drugs within their drug-taking mothers' wombs. Sure do keep the drug business flourishing within the US. Why are so many so eager to retain illegals within the US and so eager to prevent early abortions of the drug-inflicted embryos? Probably to safeguard the middle-persons for the illegal drug business from going extinct and to keep the profitable drug trade going with ready and well-spread consumers for the illegal drugs from generation to generation.

Maybe, just maybe, they think the kids would be worse off living at home with drug addicts for parents.

You make it sound like the government is throwing people in prison for smoking a joint with friends after a class reunion - not that I would ever do that but I'm just saying that's not what people go to prison for.

It is sad that the American Civil Liberties Union is so concerned about citizens of other countries.

Drug use is like being a leper, just lock them away and forget about it.

Don't do the crime if you can't do the time.

Poor kids...their junkie parents don't give a damn about them.
