I think that Brady Quinn will go first in the 2007 NFL Draft because he had Charlie Weis as a coach at the University of Notre Dame. Charlie Weis was the Offensive Coordinator for the New england Pats. Brady Quinn has an Understanding of an NFL type Offense. We all know he doesnt have a bigger arm than JaMarcus Russell but he makes better desicions in Pressure Situations. LSU might have won the Sugar Bowl but Brady Quinn still had a pretty good performance with 2 td's and 1 int, and he had a total of 35 touchdowns and 5 ints in 06. Another reason is that he had a great game with the comeback win over Michigan State after being down 19 points in the fisrt few minutes of the game.

Jamarcus Russell

We are talking about the Raiders here... right? The team that can't get anything right... Calvin Johnson is the best player in the draft and Brady Quinn is probably the most NFL ready QB in the draft. But Russell is the better athlete compared to Quinn and the Raiders need a QB more than they do a receiver. So they'll be taking Russell with their pick.

On another note, why does everyone thing Charlie Weis is a great coach? Can everyone at least acknowledge the fact that most of the players there when he took over were mentored AND recruited by Tyrone Willingham, including Brady Quinn. Weis took over a team that Willingham spent three years building, of course it was going to be a good team. Then Weis has a good season and everyone automatically thinks he's a wonderful coach... WHY?

Brady Quinn faced the toughest defense in his whole life in the Sugar Bowl and fell flat on his face. He looked confused and made terrible decisions. After ND's second possession they could not move the ball no matter what they tried. Russell played in the SEC, a conference that is more like the NFL than any other. His superior size, athleticism, and arm strength will be the reason why he is drafted first and the reason he will have a better career.

Brady Quinn should because the Raiders like sucking. He'll suck. I hope my Vikings don't get him. They should go with Calvin Johnson. He would give the Raiders a 1-2-3 punch if Moss is still there and wants to play. If Moss steps up, it'll be like my '98 Vikes except a little different---veteran WR who kills defenses with a rookie on the other side, possibly the best to play the game.

I hope that jamarcus russel is the number 1 pick because i hate him and want him to go to a suckass team like the raiders.
I hope the vikings pick up brady quinn because he would really complement that good defense that they have and with a solid passing game the vikings may soon be contenders.

If the Raiders keep the first choice, then it'll be Russell. Al Davis still is in love with the vertical passing game and Russell has the bigger arm. Moreover, Russell is mobile and the Raiders' "O" line isn't getting better anytime soon, IMHO.
