Internet shopping!!!

I hit a lot of sites like www.pricegrabber.com / www.pricewatch.com / www.techbargins.com and Google's FROOGLE (which is now under the MORE link)

eBay / Half.com and Yahoo Shops are also a great place to look.

Stay out of London, never buy anything from a major high street store or a 'corner shop' (you want to know why the local shops are closing down ?? because they charge twice as much for half the quality as anywhere else)

You can get most non-food items on the Internet - and discount shops (like Lidl) for the rest.

If you have to visit a major, wait for the Sales and focus on 'Special' or 'two for one' offers.

For booze and fags, visit Sainsburys in Calais (you can pre-order on the Internet - all you have to do is pick it up !!)

Final tip ? NEVER EVER buy anything that has a LOGO blazoned across it (FCUK you too). Everything that's 'in Fashion', 'this Season' or 'this years colour' is simply overpriced junk (i.e. NAFF) that will fall to bits on the first wash and will be in the dustbin within 10 weeks anyway ..

Shop around,.Look for special offers and BOGOFS(buy one get one free) or buy at wholesale bulk warehouses. Some of these are OK but some things are not economical if you have to buy 2 years requirements at one go.For larger items bargain and haggle.Demand a discount.Tell the salesman OK forget it I'll go elsewhere, I'm not paying that price I don't need to buy it here.Very often in order to get business especially if he has spent a bit of time on you,he will come back with a better offer.Say that's better, now what freebies are you going to throw in. You say for Example,"I want a case and a set of spare batteries and headphones" He will probably grimace and say you are hard aren't you but then say OK then. Shake hands and it's a deal. There are lots of ways to save if you are determined enough

You pay retail no matter. One company will just have a lower profit(maybe even using the product you are interested in as a "loss" leader) on the item than the other companies that sell the same item. It is called "watch for sales"
