I suspect that there is microbial life in Mars right now, 1/2 mile down under the permafrost where liquid water still flows. If we can get a way to drill down that far and collect a sample we'll be able to culture it. Mars life will be found to be related to Earth life via panspermia 3 or 4 billion years ago.

I dont think they will find any human like forms of Mars but as the first person said I think atleast a simple life form will be found.

"I" think that they will spend a lot of money and find out nothing. I do not want to be the only person doubting the successful outcome of this venture, but I just don't see
the prospects as being real good.

If they find any its going to be bacteria that feed off the iron rock or something. Maybe a few ancient civilizations but nothing recent.
