I had the same problem part way through my pregnancy (I'm 14 1/2 weeks now). I got some All-Bran bars and they were quite tasty but what I found to work just as well was...almonds. A 1/4 cup serving of almonds has 14g of fibre and although they're high in fat, it's the "good" fat. I just ate a few here and there throughout the day and it worked like a charm!

Just add fiber whenever you can to your diet. I ate the all bran cereals... They are kind of gross but they help. I also got the tropicana orange juice with extra fiber... Orange juice in general will help tho...
You do want to do something about it, because you can get hemmorhoids which are not fun. If adding fiber to your diet doesn't help, call your doctor and ask if you should take a fiber supplement or anything otc that is safe for you to take.
Good Luck :)

If you're really miserable, nothing will work faster to move your bowels than an enema or a suppository. For occasional use, they are perfectly all right, use them too often, however, and you risk creating a lazy colon. That is, you could wind up worse off.
I used the enema during my pregnancy's to relieve severe constipation with no problems

If you are taking a prenatal vitamin with iron or an iron supplement, you will need to add lots of orange juice to your diet. Iron will constipate you if you do not add lots of extra vitamin C to help your body process it.
Other than that, drink fruit juices, eat prunes (they're not so bad, really), and drink lots of water.
Good luck!

Fiber and coffee. when i am constipated i drink coffee. Clears up in 30 minutes. But not too much, keep it moderate. It's still ok to drink when pregnant.

Try eating a couple of prunes a day. I had to do this my entire pregnancy. Try 1 or 2 and see if that works if not increase it. Or if you like it, drink prune juice! Good Luck!

If your doctor okays it, my solution was to drink a mug of decaf coffee. Coffee acts as a mild diuretic and generally helped.
I used this solution sparingly, though. And only after the other suggestions of pounding down water, eating fiber, etc. didn't do the trick, and my back was killing me.
