I passed the second time. The first time I was just too nervous to pass. I failed for being overcautious, basically driving like a dangerous old lady, lol. Don't worry if you've failed alot, perservere. Not everyone passes first time. If you're British don't get disheartened by Americans who pass first time. The test in Britain is a lot harder. My sister in law is American and recently had to take her test for a British license, she's been driving for years in America but really struggled with the British test.

I passed my first time, but i was 18 instead of 16 and had been driving for 3 years.
You'll get it next time! Just relax and take your time and practice some more!

I passed the written and the practle both on the first try. I have a friend who just got his learners after failing 8 times, needless to say, i won't drive with him.

I failed twice, I passed the third time through practise practise practise along the route. Plenty of rescue remedy and an encouraging pre test....
It's OK to fail, it will make you a better driver, not so cocky and arrogant. At least you wil definitely know the rules of the road.And the party to celebrate will be great.. good luck

I was 16 and passed the first time (but I think it was because he felt bad for me--I was a nervous wreck)!

It was common for myself and my peers to pass on our second try. I think the examiners were too high and mighty to allow us to pass 1st time and failed us on something trivial so we wouldn't get over confident. I was told I went too slow around corners and passed on my 2nd attempt.

I failed 2X and passed on the 3rd try because the guy felt sorry for me and my mom promised him she would continue to help me get better. That was in 1993. Don't worry, you'll pass next time. :)

first try it is easy for some people i got really nervous but just focus my friend Emily it took her 4 tries ha ha so just stay calm and practice a lot!

Once, it was incredibly easy. That is why immigrants both legal and otherwise flock to that particular state to get their licenses.
