The argument being he does not because he can't have a kid. I know this a logical fallacy, but I can't remember which one... maybe ad hominem? My argument that life begins at conception is not valid because I am a man. Yes, ad hominem. Opinions?
I say yes. Abortion is not about a 'woman's right', it is about the death of a living being, whom I will call an unborn child and some people call 'fetus'. I do not believe WE have the right to tell a woman she MUST have a kid. I believe WE have the right to tell her she CAN'T kill a kid.
There are all manner of birth control out there. I know a girl that has had two abortions. Why? There is no need for it.
Anti-abortion is not anti-choice; that choice needs to be made prior to sex (which is the act that causes pregnancy).
Anti-abortion is not about 'men subjugating women' it is about a state or a country or a people protecting a vulnerable segment of the population, unborn children.

Indeed: All sane anti-abortion laws would allow abortion for reasons such as: Rape, Incest, Statutory Rape, health of the mother, health of the child.

I totally agree. I think its time people learn to face consequences of the actions they choose to take. If a couple weren't ready to have a baby then they just shouldn't 'have had sex. Why kill a being? Abortion is killing!!!
From fertilisation, two completly different systems (the egg and the sperm) fuse and a new system forms (the zygote). The new system is not an addition of the two initial systems, it is a combination of the two and it is unique. The very second a zygote forms, it would have all the necessary information that makes it an idividual. In fact, it has what is known as a genome which determines the baby's sex, the colour of eyes, the colour of hair etc. If the zygote is left to grow with all the ideal internal and external conditions it will develop into a fully grown human. This means that the body begins at fertilisation. Remember a body forms a big part of everyone of us.
Also, the zygote which forms at fertilisation, and the feutus it develps into is not a potential person... but a person with potential!! Just cause the feutus cant express consciousness or desire doesn't mean its not a living being!
I think its pure selfishness and evilness to kill a being who isnt yet strong enough to fight for his rights. I mean, fine a girl might say she's not ready to become a parent. However there's always the option of sending your child to adoption in that case.
ABORTION IS KILLING!!! TAKE ACTIONS FOR YOUR RESPONSIBILITY AND DONT JUST DO AWAY WITH AN INNOSCENT BEING'S LIFE!!!!
... believe me you'll regret it later on in life!

First of all, let me correct you, it is not the death of a living being, it is a pre human being that I would compare more to a parasite than anything else, only because of it's total dependence on its host!
You can't kill something that isn't living! Lets go by the Md's definition, not yours!
Yes, there are manners of Birth Control out there, many whom your ilk had removed from schools, hence, you are part of the reason children get pregnant. Other just cant afford it and condoms are not that great when coming to stopping a pregnancy!
You also are against the Morning After pill, which does not cause an abortion.
We need to be careful of people like you as you are the ones who are now going after ALL birth control as you claim that is abortion!. Nothing could be farther from the truth!
"it is about a state or a country or a people protecting a vulnerable segment of the population". If this is true, why won't you fund programs THAT DO SUPPORT those who does have a child?/ Isn't that a little hypocritical?
Your ilk doesn't even support child abuse laws! You won't even protect those thet ARE living!
You want to make the government enforce your religious views, but then wash your hands of being involved after the birth, sort-of a modern day Pontius Pilate!
Yes, I think you should stay out of other peoples business. If God wants to judge, he will, but NOT you as you are not Him!

You are correct. The liberals and womens lib movement freaks use any and all tools against dissenters to their plan. This includes rediculous statements like the ones you quote and the real winner that they somehow have a right to choose to kill. NOT! Its not a right under the Constitution or anywhere else. Its simply another made up liberal right which isn't a right at all. Its all part of the method of working on peoples emotions. We all want to be liked, loved and accepted. They know this and attempt to work on those feelings by name calling and liberal mumbo jumbo. What good people like you need to do is ignore their ramblings for what they are, meaningless ramblings. Point out the fallacy of their claim that your a man and have no say in matters of birth. Tell them that without a man they would be worthless as a child bearer, and that unless they discovered the immacualte conception method you do indeed have a say in the creation and the destruction of a human life. Remember, when it comes to liberals like that, their hypocracy knows no bounds when it comes to "the agenda".

Having an abortion for MANY is a tough choice, the person you know who had 2 might not think of it that way. She is the EXCEPTION not the rule.
Birth control is not 100%. I can attest to that but I made the CHOICE to have my child. There is a minimum of a 3% failure rate, it takes physicians time to figure out what contraception works for which person, it is NOT a one size fits all thing.
Anyway, you may be entitled to your opinion and be pro-life BUT you do NOT have the right to cram your opinion down someone else's throat.
I find it ironic, some of the same ones who love to talk about being pro- life and other alternatives such as putting the child up for adoption are some of the same ones who bit*h and complain about having to pay more money into a system to take care of children in headstart, in foster care, for medicaid which the government uses to take care of children in the system, complain about "big" government when they try to institute laws that help to protect them when they come out of the womb. Sorry it can't have it both ways.
Some of the same people who do not put their money where their mouth is and line up and adopt these children they are outside abortion clinics claiming they want to save. Some of the same people who don't want "gays" to adopt children to take them out of the system.
You cannot tell a woman who was raped and then finds herself pregnant because of it that she should be forced to have the offspring.
You cannot tell a woman who has a husband who has threatened to kill her if she becomes pregnant and somehow it happens that she should NOT be able to make a choice

I would just like to point out some discrepencies in your question/statement.
You first ask if you have a right to be anti-abortion?
You do, and the Freedom of Speech protects that right. You also have a right to protest abortion (in a peaceful manner).
Then you state that 'it is about a state or a country or a people protecting a...' - which means you step outside your opnion and move into enforcing it on others where the law currently does not support you.
The current law of land decided by the Supreme Court allows for abortion and the specifics to be decided by state law. This means that while I welcome your opinion, you don't have the right to do more than protest and voice your opinion.

wow, you really bit into something here.
I think you cant separate the two, ie. telling a women to have, or not kill kids. I do not condone abortion. I've also never or will never be faced w/ the decision.
I make a conscious choice before i have sex assuming that if as a result my partner should get pregnant, i will except whatever happens in the event she should become pregnant.
That doesn't mean i wouldn't try to pursued a pro-life disposition if the topic was challenged, but ultimately, like parenthood it takes two.
We also must consider cases of violence. I would never ask a women to carry term a child of assault. This is of-course in-spite of my beliefs. But after-all they are mine.

It's good to hear a man's opinion on this topic. I feel the way you do. To be pro-choice, you should make the choice before having sex, or else you should have to be pro-life.
Men have every right to be involved. After all, the women would be in this condition if it weren't for a man. These babies have both a mom and a dad. If men have to be involved with raising a child, he has every right to want to protect the life of an unborn baby.

I agree with all of your points except this: I'm for abortion if it puts the mother, child, or both of them in life-ending jeporady or if the parents know, beyond the shadow of a doubt, through solid testing, that the baby will be a "living vegetable" if he is brought into the world. I know people don't choose to be born, but I feel it is our duty as people to protect those who will live lives as vegetables unless they're aborted. In that instance, I don't think that's "playing God."

Sure you can voice your opinion.
If you believe a aborting a fetus resulting from rape or consenting under age sex is OK, then you are not anti abortion. I don't care what other people choose, just don't make responsible taxpayers pay for raising and educating irresponsible peoples unwanted mistakes.
