What makes a Scorpio to be so harsh?

It is a common trait of all the Scorpio friends I have, even one of them is my best friend, they all become harsh sometimes and kinda their tone changes to either make a stinging comment or they answer fury with sharp tone. I am a Taurus and I get easily hurt so kinda I have feeling I am careful all the time what should I say not to annoy them and as if they also try to watch out how they will answer so that I won't get upset. Sometimes I have feeling we are too cautious from each other and I am afraid to talk. I really do not know what's the reason for that to happen, they bite all of a sudden as we have random or general talk. Why they become sharp unexpectedly?

I am a scorpio! We are tortured souls.. we carry our pain *emotional and physical* in our back and sholders... this often causes stress and headaches that we don't realize we have until someone has gotten on our last nerve and we snap! Then I'm like "damn i have a headache!"
When I met my boyfriend I told him I was a scorpio and that there were certian things he might have to deal with i.e: the headaches, moodiness and how crazy I get when there is a full moon.
Most of the time we dont' realize we are snapping... so you might need to come up with a GENTLE reminder... we scorpios are sensitive too! VERY EMOTIONAL! My boyfriend will say to me "is it hot in here" and I know I'm being a very mean person.
Th other thing bad about being a scorpio is how sexual we are... sometimes sexuality is a curse. That constant pressue to look PERFECT and SEXY gets to you sometimes... the smallest thing can make you feel SO UNATTRACTIVE! This weekend I had to wear my glasses because I ran out of contacts, you would have thought someone mugged me! I felt so ugly! Most of the time I wear tham and don't care, but because I was being forced to wear them I was ANGRY and took it out on myself...

Scorpio's normally get 'stingy' when rejected, not in control or even from not being the centre of attention. But they are a deep sort and don't always understand their own reactions and can react harsh i a lot of the time.
I'm a Scorpio and my best friend is a Taurus. We're opposite signs and understand each other well. We are both deep, sensitive and feeling. This works great when things are good but as with all in life, there's a flip side. So when it's bad it's awful. You'll find you react to each others moods. When either of us aren't so good, we just give the other space.
