If you had listed a few of the examples you find tough, people might have been able to give you help or guidance on how to proceed. Do you understand the basic concept of letting x represent an unknown value? Have you learned how to manipulate expressions involving letters? What stage are you at? One rule of algebra is that you cannot solve an equation with too many unknowns.

it needs to be looked at in a simple manner. most ppl forget the simple part and that's what makes it hard u started using algebra in 1st grade and didn't realize it sample 3 + 3 = ____
algebra example 3 + 3 = A or A + B = 6 get it. as kids we used lines or boxes were the sum would be placed. as we get older they use letters. if there is no action meaning + - / between the letters it always means to multiply. i no this is real basic but i hope it helps u to get over your anxiety Little just step back and take a diff look it. Why is Algebra so hard to understand? I say it has something to do with the fact it is not something you can just grasp, hold and see. It is abstract.

it's a balancing act. just as it's hard to balance on a tight rope, so is it with algebra. but balance the equation, and you'll do just fine.

I really don't think that algebra is tough at all according to me they are just rumours.If you practice hard you'll get it.

I think it's because it's a different way of viewing the world that you are not used to. Try to look at it unemotionally.
By the way, anything can be hard to someone who is not necessarily familiar with it. Ask your boyfriend to apply eyeliner to himself, just once, and see if he concludes that that is hard.
