Oooohhh! I did that with the radio one night. I was singing this song and decided to turn the radio on and the song I was just singing was on at the exact spot I left off at.
Wicked crazy! I laughed about it for a good 5 minutes! I love it when that stuff happens!

I've done it a few times when I've been looking up Japanese words in my J-E dictionary... at first I was shocked, now when it happens I just say 'Bam, like that!' and massage my ego. Always makes me happy...
I mean, I use those dictionaries a lot, it's part of the course of being a translator... I reckon it's just inevitable if you use the dictionary at all that it's going to happen...

It is not an amazing coincidence and is far easier to do then winning the British lottery. I think I have done it but only with a small dictionary

I picked up one a couple of weeks ago but by the time I had got half way through the glossary I get tired of it so I never got to the story

it happens to me all the time. yesterday i had a jingle in my head from an advert i hadn't seen in ages and like a minute later i saw it on a tv. or sometimes i get the feeling that someones going to ring me and i'm just kind of aware of the phone before it actually rings, if that makes sense? i think the next step of evolution for mankind could the development of the powers of our minds

Yes but it wasn't the dictionary-it was a Concordance with about 1000 pages in it. My Creator showed me where to look.

It is spooky...Iit happend to me with the telephone book..Freaky..i was looking for a client with the surname Shih..the book fell and it landed on that page...!if it was a surname like Thomson I wouldnt be surprised, but Shih..gee whizz!!!!!!!!

You don't have to do that anymore and it's no spooky to me. Just go to dictionary.com and type the and it will take you right to it. Now that's spooky!
