I have an appointment with my accountant today, but can't find my taxes from last year- I have'05 and '04, will that be enough for him to go by?

He's never done my taxes before so I'd like for him to see how they were done before ... only a couple changes this year.

You might need your 05 and 04 taxes so take them and all your paper work for 06, because you will be doing your 06 taxes at the appointment. Have a nice day and good luck!

well it would help, they need the gross adjusted income from last year, why dont you do it yourself, very simple, i would never pay anyone, i want all my money. lol
plus there are many online assistance, you can file for free threw the irs.gov website, then there are turbotax(my fav), and h&r block online, you get your money back just as fast, well maybe not instantly, but within a week.

it makes sense for an accountant to get a handle on your previous taxes.

no he does not need them . All he will need from you is all your current papers for this year to file 2006.
