Wallet (cards etc), coin purse (bus change), mobile phone, keys, locker keys, sunglasses, Blistex lip conditioner, Revlon lipgloss, temple balm (to keep me calm and awake), name tag, panadol (i get headaches), glasses case, book (usually a Jane Austen), hand cream, a 4-way nail buffer and a water bottle. Sometimes my diary and a pen and occasionally a pair of socks.
I have a rather large bag.

Wallet with Check Cards, Credit Cards, ID, Insurance Cards, Money, Cell Phone, Lighter, Cigs, gum, chap-stick. Sometimes Lipstick, sometimes hair serum (I have high maintenance hair), Hand Sanitizer, CHANGE - euro and dollars, sometimes toilet seat covers, a little compact mirror.
I always have receipts in there somewhere. and phone cards to call back home to America!! and my Keys cause the doors and gates at my house lock automatically.
Sometimes It depends on the season.

For me, i carry wallet, cell phones, face powder, lip gloss, keys, pocket tissue and umbrella which is a must for me.

Like you said, Cell, wallet, keys, lipstick, pills (incase I or someone else falls ill), Pen, hand lotion, emergancy make-up, hair pins, perfume, femanine (once a month) products, sweets and 4 wraped toothpicks, wet-wipes. In my bigger bag that i use on weekends, i have sunblock lotion, a hairbrush, as well.

I actually have a extensive Gucci bag. it style of feels the older i'm getting I continuously discover greater issues to characteristic in it haha! I now carry my wallet, sunlight colorings, keys, replicate, lip gloss, tampons, bobby pins, hair tie, make up, cover up, nail polish in case i lose interest someplace, telephone, sunscreen, hand sanitizer, small brush, makeup remover, tweezers, slightly shuttle bottle of Dove hairspray, and slightly shuttle length subject of deodorant. You in no way know the place you will bypass! i'm specific i'm lacking something... :)

Plenty! My purse/wallet, lipstick, powder (in case you need to check up) and vicks vapour rub would be my essentials...Other stuff are like pads...
