It depends on how you use the word hate.
Sometimes we think we hate someone who we really care about - like a family member or a close friend - but we're actually just very angry with them.
In that case, it is worth trying to work through and fix.
But if someone has done something truly horrible to you (violent or hateful) then it would probably be wise to cut them out of your life.
Just take your time making the decision - sometimes it helps to have some time to cool off.

Take the high road. Like Jerry Sienfeld said, "Good living is the best revenge."

I have cut people off from disagreements. I have forgiven them and would allow a reconciliation. On the other hand, I am not going to call those people on the phone and chat.

I am too busy being happy!

Well when you hate someone, you have to be aware of your hatred towards that person you hate. Because basically when someone hates someone, he sees his own self in that person he hates and he might have the same traits like that person. That is way he hates that person because he sees his own flaws and shortcoming in that person he hates. That is why they say that hatred only hurts the person who have it. True. Misery loves company. If you know what I am talking about.

I read one of those e-mail floating around the web for a while saying the following.

"People come to our life for reason, season and lifetime. "
God puts this and that people around us to develop his children's character. When we are done with one phase of character training, usually our instructors, those who irritate us beyond measure, move on to carry out their mission somewhere else.

yes but somewhere in your heart you will need to forgive that person, (you dont have to do it literally) just in your mind, or you will be miserable all your life. that anger will spread like a disease even if you never seen him again
