I have stopped nursing my daughter and I felt around my breast and I feel this thing in my breast, and I am wondering if that is just a milk gland/duct, or something that I should go see my doctor about? I don't see anything, and its something that I can push around with my fingers. Any suggestions on what it might be?

If it's a gland or blocked milk duct it should go away in a week or so. If it's a persistent lump then you should be getting it checked. Better safe than sorry!

My daughter-in-law was feeding her son from one breast only. In the other breast due to unflow of the milk, lump was caused and in emergency she was rushed to hospital and operated upon to get the lump removed. It is better if you speak to gynaecologist and take his advise at the earliest.

My recommendation would be to have this checked out by your dr. They can help you figure out whether this thing is a milk gland or not.

Since it moves, it's a milk duct.
