I am short and skinny but have a wide waist.
Can anybody give me some tips for wearing a saree, so that I can look taller and slimmer?

wear a saree made of fine fabric like chiffon, georgette, crepe or fine net...
avoid silks, synthetics and cottons
depending on your complexion though, but where pastel shades, blacks, reds with smaller floral prints or vertical patterns, you could even go fro delicatre sequins, shimmers and stones...
you could also go in for lehriyas and bandhanis....
avoid embroidery or heavy zarodozi types....
go for thin borders...
also dont wear the sari in gujarati style..
make the blouse slightly longer so that it covers a significant part of your waist....make short sleeves
wear your hair in flowing lengths or a high bun...
finally dont forget to wear heels 2.5-3 in atleast, with thin delicate straps

You wear cotton saree in this summer and take help of your friends and sisters how to wear a saree and go in the company of super markert. This way, you hope some change comes. Along with this do bending exercises to bring wide waist down and eat good food to become thicker in skin and look smart and beauty woman.

A saree will only make you look short and wider. If you are trying to hide your shape in a bathing suite, go for an attractive bathrobe. Silk, loose, colorful, translucent. That would look very attractive on you.

Dont forget to wear your SHOES/sandals before wearing the saree. This way it will fall better and your feet wont be showing much which can at times make you look clumsy.

It must be wearing very tight. Straight Lining will improve your looks as toller.
Avoide Sleave Less Top

buy some pamela anderson style platform high heels......u might look lile a circus freak but you will definitely look taller.....
