I need to complete a science project on fertiliser concentrations effect on plant growth in 2-3weeks. I need seeds with the least food storage that grow the fastest to give results. I'll be looking at height and dry mass differences.

As a kid I used radish seeds for my science project. It involved the germination of seeds exposed to free electrons. They germinate extremely fast if you keep them warm. If you need something with a smaller cotyledon, a lot of researchers use tobacco seed (you can substitute nicotiana). RScott
