The word unicorn in the Bible is a mistranslation, It was actually talking about an ox. The Bible was first translated from the original Hebrew and Aramaic in Roman times, the people doing the translations were not totally up to par. The "whale that swallowed Jonah should have been a great fish. They sometimes inserted words that were their best guess.

In my bible, the Douay-Rheims version, unicorn is only metioned once in Psalms 91:11 But my horn shall be exalted like that of the unicorn: and my old age in plentiful mercy.
I have always loved unicorns. They are beautiful creatures and I have a tattoo of one. Dragon is mentioned in the Bible many times. But the word dragon in the Bible is not perceived as how we think of the word dragon. Dragon in the Bible is another name for demon or Satan, not an animal that is big like a dinosaur. There is no mention of fairies in the Bible. Wizards is also mentioned in the Bible.

The Bible talks about many things that are not real, have never been real, and never will be real. Unicorns never existed as portrayed in myths or legends. An Indian rhinoceros has one horn on its nose and inspired some tales of unicorns. Other animals did too. None of the stuff you mention has ever existed. I add gods, devils, ghosts, Bigfoot, UFO's, etc. to that list.

It could be that fossil evidence was assumed to be them. For example, more and more anthropologists are finding evidence of what Greek mythology referred to as "cyclops" and other creatures. There were many ancient bones found in temples, but the first anthropologist were more concerned with treasure, so they threw out everything else. Now anthropologists are going through what they left, and finding dinosaur and mammoth bones. It may be that the Greeks found the bones, assumed the creatures still lived, and created the myths to explain them. I don't know about you, but if I found a few mammoth bones, and didn't know what a full skeleton looked like, I might think there were giants around. And the places which have legends about dragons, like China, seem to be those places where dinosaur skeletons are pretty common. If I saw a brontosaur skeleton, it would sure look like a dragon to me.

i dont believe these creatures where ever real for the simplest reason is they where all suppose to be magical and enchanted now if that was the case they would have used their magic to stay alive anyone can write a book today stating unicorns, faries and dragons roamed our earth at present and in a million years people will read it and believe its true because they where not here to see for themselves they can only go on whats written so the past will always remain a mystery

I've never heard of unicorns mentioned in the bible but ghosts and witches/wizards are. Faeries, I've seen those, so I'm sure they had.

Unicorn is used to translate the Hebrew word meaning some species of wild bull - a powerful, not easily tamed creature:
"the strength of an unicorn." (Numbers 23:22 KJV)
"Will the unicorn be willing to serve thee, or abide by thy crib? Canst thou bind the unicorn with his band in the furrow? or will he harrow the valleys after thee? Wilt thou trust him, because his strength is great? or wilt thou leave thy labour to him?" (Job 39:9-11 KJV)
There are dinosaurs in the bible as well which means Noah took them on the ark as babies or still in their eggs. Do a google search for dinosaurs in th ebible.

I read something before which mentioned that if they had of ever existed they wouldn't have been able to survive - because of having one horn. In the past there were many species of mammals which were single horned, but they mostly died out because they couldn't compete against 2 horned animals. The horn could easily get stuck and they have nothing to use to lever it out. The reason rhinos still exist (1 horned) is purely because they have tons of hide to protect themselves with.

Perhaps there was some other one horned animal that people called a unicorn.

Actually the Japanese unicorn looks more like a single horned dear with scales.

The Chinese Unicorn also bears little resemblence to a horse.

Job 39: "Will the unicorn be willing to serve thee, or abide by thy crib? Canst thou bind the unicorn with his band in the furrow? or will he harrow the valleys after thee?"

Psalm 22: "Save me from the lion's mouth: for thou has heard me from the horns of the unicorns."

Job 39:10 Canst thou bind the unicorn with his band in the furrow? or will he harrow the valleys after thee?

Deuteronomy 33:17 His glory is like the firstling of his bullock, and his horns are like the horns of unicorns: with them he shall push the people together to the ends of the earth: and they are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Manasseh.

Isiaih 34:7 And the unicorns shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls; and their land shall be soaked with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness.

Numbers 23:22 God brought them out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn.

Numbers 24:8 God brought him forth out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn: he shall eat up the nations his enemies, and shall break their bones, and pierce them through with his arrows.

Psalms 22:21 Save me from the lion's mouth: for thou hast heard me from the horns of the unicorns.

Psalms 29:6 He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn.

Psalms 92:10 But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.

And yes I do believe in Fairies, Dragons and Wizards. They all exist in one form or another.
