The Brits for example: They are "negotiating" with Iran despite the fact that Iran has kidnapped its sailors. This is getting them nowhere fast. Another 30 or 40 U.N. resolutions will do nothing, also.

Instead of putting the cart before the horse, how about the Brits bomb Iran into submission, THEN begin "negotitations"?

This was basically a test for the British and they failed it miserably as did Jimmy Carter in the 70's. Without a powerful response they leave themselves wide open for more of this happening. The Iranians are laughing at the west and their weakness. They will get nuclear weapons and sell them to terrorist. We will suffer the consequences of this for a long time to come! Bring back Margret Thatcher...She had some balls!

Yea sounds like the UK has Jimmy Carter in charge.
I certainly hope that Blair fairs better in an Iran hostage situation than Carter did.

The guns got more dangerous. Bombing the Iranians will lead, most probably, to the execution of the sailors. Blair could not deal with that. Nor should he have to. The sailors will get released probably sooner than later after the Iranians make their stupid point.

The goal here for the British government is to get those people back alive. There is no point to be made that is greater than that.

We should be negotiating the terms of Iran's surrender after a massive bombing, not whether or not Iran is telling the truth.
