I would really like to see David Carr in Oakland, but I have a feeling he's gonna go to Seattle or Carolina. What do other people think?

Yes, because they won't want to "risk" drafting a QB. They've already got decent WRs and a decent OL if healthy... add an immediate playmaker through the draft and Carr (A veteren QB that can and will throw downfield!) and they could be decent. They could trade down and still get Adrian Peterson or yet another great WR.

Where ever David Carr goes he will be a back up whether in Seattle, Carolina, or Oakland. A quarterback will be drafted by the Raiders in the first round, they won't trade the pick or draft any other position first. David Carr has the potential to be a good quarterback but without some one to teach him he will be the same as he was in Houston. Going to Seattle or Carolina would be a great move because of the veterans there to teach him, plus look at Matt Shaub now the starter for the Texans he was the most coveted quarterback in all of free agency this year and having a good quality backup at the most important position on the field is a good thing. David Carr will be a backup for two or three seasons and then he will get a starting job after he has someone teach him how to play quarterback in the NFL which he didn't have in Houston.

Yes, I honestly do think Carr will end up with the Raiders for several reasons. One is that he can immediately compete for the starting QB job on the team based on his experience in the NFL. Two, Oakland would rather not have to choose a QB with the number 1 pick with the best athlete available being WR Calvin Johnson. It is well known that the Raiders would like to have Johnson to team up with Randy Moss and Jerry Porter for one of the greatest WR trios in football. If they had Carr at QB, he could be the stop-gap until they find a better fit. Third, the other two teams you mention already have a starting QB in-place and Carr would only be competing for a backup spot. Oakland is the logical choice for Carr and he is right now, the best choice for the Raiders.

If he's smart, Carr will go to the team that is most set with a line and a running game. Oakland would just be a second disaster for him. Even a couple of years as a backup on a good team would be better for him in the end then starting on a bad team.

I would love to see him there but it will not happen other places he could go are is

Baltimore:Lets face facts he wont start this year but steve NcNair only has a couple of years left then carr steps in to a great defence steady offense and ok recivers

Detriot: If oakland passes up calvin johnson the lions will draft him and david carr would have two up and coming WR's and not to mention an up and coming team

these would be two great fits for him

Carr is getting a second chance at his career after leaving the Texans. I don't think he'll be dumb enough to leave the worst offensive line for the second worst. That would kill any chance he'll ever have of proving himself better than what he showed in Houston. Being a back up somewhere like Seattle or Carolina would be much better for him than a starting spot on his back in Oakland.

I hope he does go to Oakland. Being a Raider Fan. But I also would like if Green goes to Miami, and we get Culpepper. Knowing that Kiffin the Raiders Head Coach has worked with Carr back in College, gives it a Plus+ but you never know in this league. If Carr does come to Oakland We should Draft C.Johnson. I think we should keep Moss if Carr comes to town. But if We draft a Rookie QB, Moss should be traded, because he doesnt want to be in a rebuilding team.

Carr isnt going to land in Oakland. The Raiders have signed Josh Booty and are going to draft Russell or Quinn with the first pick. Just not enough room on the roster this year for 4 QB's.

i Hope not . r u kidding we dont want that BUM.. we want russell everyone wants russell. who needs a Qb. i dont see anyone saying brady over russell it always russell. i think the perfect fit for carr is the Ravens. Mc nair only as 1 maybe 2 years left then he can take over. the Panthers if Jake starts choking he might jump right in or Clevend but thats the texans all over again like Oakland or the packers brett doesnt have that long. But carr in Oakland hell NO from a raiders fan that live in Oakland

I believe that Cleveland is more likely than Seattle, but Oakland is number 2 next to Carolina
