HELP! Y do i get a dns error when connecting my ps3 n d intrnet.Im from Philippines & using smartbroadband?

I copied the DNS setting from my laptop to my ps3, however i still get the DNS error in my ps3. What am i gonna do

This will not work if you are just attempting to connect your PS3 directly to your broadband modem. You will need to purchase a router and set it up for your ISP Connection.

The reason is your PS3 can not supply the ISP with your username and password so there will be no internet connection.
