I really don't understand why people slow down almost to a stop to view a terrible car accident or other event. I think it is kind of sick myself, but I think it's just human nature to want to know what is going on, what happened, etc. It's odd to me that people will talk about a terrible event to others much more often than talking about a good thing that they saw. It's like everyone wants to be the first to tell about something awful that happened. I guess some people watch these things and thank God it wasn't them, while others view it as entertainment.

There is no such thing as underlying darkness. People are drawn to things they don't see everyday. If an elephant was walking down the street, people would go out to look at it.

I don't understand it myself. My father and brother invited me to an "ultimate fighting" event and I attended because I don't see my father often. It was horrible and I had a physical reaction to the fights. I was very upset but my father, brother, and everyone else around me were excited. I'll never go back.

My parents want us to see what happens when something like holdups or things like that happen so we could avoid it or know hor to get away........

Others they want to see the aftermaths of violence........
